How to work a Miracle

Miracles were an important part of Christ's earthly ministry. It was through them that he made people to believe in his message - the message of eternal life through faith in God. Ordinarily, God had the right to command us to obey him or perish, but because he wanted us to be saved, he helps us by means of miracles. Miracles are an instrument of faith. They help to revive faith especially where it is weak. Seeing that it was only through faith that we can be saved, Christ used a lot of tools such as his teachings, life and supernatural acts to enable us have faith in the power of God.
Miracles are a supernatural occurrence. It is something that does not follow the natural law since it operates on a supernatural level.
You remember the Biblical story of the man who was born blind, he said to Christ, Lord, that I may see. There was an element of faith both by the man and by Christ who perceived it. Jesus saw that the man believed that he could be healed - that was an open door for heavenly intervention, so he healed him with his word.

In order for modern day Christians to be able to work a miracle:
- There must be an element of faith
- There should be an express desire to make it happen.

We remember Jesus saying, "He who believes in me will do what I do". So in order to be able to work a miracle, one must first believe in Christ and in the infinite power of God. Once faith is present, a miracle is already in the works.
