Thank God I'm a Christian

There was a time when there as nothing called Christianity. Since the Christ had not come, how could there be Christians. Christianity means to follow Christ. It means to be true disciples or t enter into a covenant with God through Christ. As you might well know, Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

This means that of all religions that claim to have knowledge about God, being a Christian is the highest and closest. He is the Way meaning that there is no higher path than him. He is our primary connection to God. Being a Christian should make us proud, not of ourselves of our works but of God's grace. Christianity cometh by faith but faith comes through grace and for everyone who has faith in Christ, he ought to be thankful for it.

I thank God that I'm a Christian because there is no higher duty than this in our world. Being a Christian makes you brother and sisters of the Son of God and hence a child of God and you are free to call him father. No other religion holds claim to this no other religion believes that one could become a child of God but thanks to him, our Christian faith supports this and we are indeed children of the Father who created everything.

The best time for someone to receive the Christian faith is at childhood, when still an infant and this will help the child break free from the sin of Adam which holds us bondage to evil in this world.

Unbaptized children can easily be cursed, possessed or condemned as kids but baptism break away all these and makes the child to grow up in the grace of God and power of the Spirit.
